StarCraft Ghost was intended to be a console side story to the PC strategy game. We went digging through our archives of old press releases and asset discs and happened to come upon some interesting material from Blizzard's attempted foray into console development. One game that seems to come up often in these discussions is Blizzard’s StarCraft Ghost, a third-person shooter spinoff featuring a character named Nova. Ask any gamer what titles they lament lingering in development limbo and you’ll certainly get an answer.
